HK's best luxury consignment stores

Everyday we should aspire to be more sustainable in their everyday lives (separate blog post mentioned here!). Some days it’s going to be harder, but with the rise of second-hand and consignment stores, it has never been easier to buy pre-loved items for a fraction of the cost and reduce overall consumption at the same time.

Here are a few luxury consignment stores in Hong Kong, both vintage and modern for your next luxury Chanel bag or Versace dress!

1. Hula (56-58 Hollywood Road, Central ; 5A, Evergreen Industrial Mansion, 12 Yip Fat St, Wong Chuk Hang)

Now newly located on Hollywood Road, just down the street from The Team Concept (where we pop-up!) is Hula. Specializing in womenswear and bags, the shop is gorgeously lit and has a VAST array of designer brand pieces for discounts up to 95%. Some of these brands include Céline, Chanel, Saint Laurent, Valentino, Balenciaga, Hermes among others.

Hula also has an online platform to browse, so you can check out what you want before you head over, with frequent blog posts detailing their products in looks, providing history on brands, along with announcing new arrivals in store. Their in-person shop is also beautifully decked out, and staff are always willing to help you find what you need.

2. Milan Station (various locations)

Walking around Kowloon side, you might find yourself scratching your head when looking at the Milan Station sign. Reminiscent of an MTR sign, the second-hand store is the staple eye-candy of passersby with their gorgeous luxury bags on their window displays for even more gorgeous prices!

With branches in Central, Causeway Bay, Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan, and Tuen Mun, Milan Station is for the luxury goers not just on the Island Side! Though having no dedicated online store, they have a Facebook account promoting their new releases, along with a small selection of products on HKTV mall for users to browse through. Bags are brand ensured with serial numbers and cards, so never worry about getting a fake.

3. Bang Bang 70’s (16 Aberdeen Street, Central)

Bang Bang 70’s is a luxury vintage lover’s paradise. With selections varying from watches to purses to glass frames, most items from Bang Bang are from the decadent decades before us. You can even find styles that have come back in fashion, like baguette bags, totes, and embroidered jeans!

The store has an Instagram account with their features, albeit not frequently updated, so head over to Aberdeen Street instead to browse their selection in-person. Their brand list extends beyond just the well-known luxury brands with products like vintage Evisu Jeans, 80’s Ventura Sunglasses as well as the usual ring-a-bell brands like Burberry, Céline, and Dior.
